1:    How long has your company been established ?
Answer:We opened for business in 1963 when average house prices were £3,000, John F Kennedy was assassinated and the Beatles were No.1 with “ Please Please me”.

2:    What makes you different to other estate agents ?
Answer:As a long established family run company we are passionate about giving personal tailor-made service to all our clients. We have been through all stages of selling and purchasing property ourselves, from first time buyer to down sizing, and so really understand all the uncertainties and stress that can be associated with making such a big decision when it comes to buying and selling property. With this in mind, we aim to make the process easier for you, as we are happy to discuss your requirements and hopefully erase any concerns you may have. We care about ALL our clients. Our aim is to do the very best for them.

3:    Who does your valuations ?
Answer:Stace & Co are qualified licensed agents with the NAEA. Valuations are undertaken by a director of the company offering individual personal service with professional opinion and advice. Sales appraisals are FREE. We can arrange in –house Energy Performance Certificates at competitive rates.

4:    Where are your offices ? Answer: We are located in the centre of Hastings in a four storey Victorian property, offering the opportunity of discussion in one of our private meeting rooms if required.

5:    Where do you advertise ? Answer:  In the local press, via our eye catching office and window displays, our own website and on national portals including www.globrix.co.uk, www.rightmove.co.uk , www.propertytoday.co.uk and www.propertylive.co.uk To enhance our company profile , one of our directors has regularly featured on National TV contributing to “ Homes Under the Hammer”

 

6:    Do you offer a letting and property management service ?
Answer:    Yes. We have an expanding portfolio of managed and let only properties looked after by a very experienced team. We offer various levels of service from simply finding a tenant to a more comprehensive management package to suit your needs. So, if you are an established or a new landlord you can be assured of ( we believe the best) possible advice.

7:    Is your office accredited to any professional body ? Answer:    Stace & Co are members of the National Association of Estate Agents with professional knowledge totalling over 120 years. We hold certificates for technical awards in letting ( Award Body NAEA) as well as a national award. We are members of the Tenancy Dispute Service. Registered with the Office of Fair Trading in their Ombudsman Estate Agents scheme.

8:    How well do you know the area ?
Answer:    We take great pride in our extensive local knowledge with directors and staff collectively living and raising families in the area. We have participated in many community projects and charitable events over the years.

9:    How do you see perceive the future of Hastings ?
Answer:   We are very excited about current developments in Hastings. The Jerwood Art Centre, The second stage of the progressing University Centre. The recent success with the Heritage lottery money for the New Hastings Pier and the investment into the workplace by Saga by new offices housing 800 staff.

10:    Do you sell Overseas property ?
Answer:   Yes we do. We have a vast knowledge on overseas properties particularly in Spain, France and Turkey. We are the South’s leading agents for property overseas having had over a decade of experience in this market. We have an extensive portfolio of properties overseas and are the South East appointed agents for Taylor Wimpey Spain.
